Natural numbers (counting numbers )

Whole numbers ( counting numbers with zero )

Integers ( whole numbers and their opposites and zero)

\( Z^+ = N = \{ 1, 2, 3, \dotsc \} \)

\( Z^- = \{ \dotsc, -3, -2, -1 \} \)
